It will also be extended in order to be able to maintain the necessary water depths for mooring ships - so its length will soon no longer be 165 m, but 212 m (as the crow flies), which includes a "southern bend". It will also have a maritime playground and a pavilion where you can visit a fishing exhibition to learn more about the history of Haffkrug. The highlight, however, will be the "Haffkruger Spitze", the bridgehead. There you will then find a sun deck and a mooring deck for bathing boats directly below.

Construction of the pier in Haffkrug (and Scharbeutz) is scheduled to begin at the end of 2020 and should be completed by the end of 2021.
