Behind the idea of the sculpture park is the garden design of a baroque palace park. Due to the death of Elector and Prince-Bishop Clemens August, this work on the Levenborch unfortunately remained unfinished.
The sculptures by Gerd Winner in the vicinity of the Liebenburg Castle, where he lived and worked, follow this tradition.
However, they are not used for historical decoration; instead, the time reference to our working world is interesting: made of Salzgitter steel, because the iron ore of the Salzgitter ridge was also mined in Liebenburg for many decades.

The following sculptures are located near the flanking tower:
"Arrival Portal" - a gate with two wings, open on both sides
"Andreasportal" - double cruciform in the lower entrance to the flanking tower
"Flame of the spirit" - refers to heaven and earth: flame of fire and sails
"Heaven Disc" - Alpha and Omega, A and O, Beginning and End
