#01 - The Nautilus and the Kraken Octopus

My name is Pierre Aronnax and I have lived an extraordinary story. After being shipwrecked, I was taken aboard a submarine called the Nautilus. The captain, who introduced himself as Nemo (which means nobody in Latin), introduced me to the mysteries of the underwater world, its wonders and monsters. One of them is particularly impressive. Do you know the legend of the Kraken, the giant octopus that can drag a ship in its tentacles? In any case, the Nautilus almost fell victim to him. This encounter left the greatest impression on me!
So you understand how proud I am that my name was chosen for this route in Amiens! Because you too will make encounters. I guarantee you that they will not be dangerous.
A note of clarification: I am a fictional character, as you may have guessed. I turn up in Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and the man I owe my existence to is Jules Verne. I am a special character because the illustrators of this novel portray me with the features of Jules Verne...
