Very nice alternative to the overcrowded path at the lake. Nevertheless, you can walk the circular route and only take this piece off the beaten track. The paths are easily manageable, from time to time you cross a small scree field and are otherwise on beautiful narrow trails.

From time to time there is a wonderful view of the Eibsee from above.

An extraordinarily varied and interesting mountain path.⛰️ A great alternative to the walk around the lake, I think good shoes and poles are advisable. Today with the rain the ground is very soft and muddy... but it's really fun to walk here. We were completely alone 😉
