To explore the Himmelmoor on foot, there are two circular hiking trails: the Inner Moor Trail and the Outer Moor Trail. You can also walk along the South Dam and the East Dam. Another hiking trail follows the tracks of the old peat railway. All of these trails are marked on the information board. Since 2012, there has also been a bridleway around the moor. Several viewing platforms provide an overview of the parcels.

A hike here is really recommended. Only on weekends when the weather is nice is it unfortunately sometimes quite overcrowded.
