The "Heimatblick" refuge invites visitors to take a break. We took our lunch break here on today's hike on the Eifelsteig. For the warm season it is advisable to use one of the numerous seating areas outside the hut to enjoy the beautiful view over the hills of the Vulkaneifel.

In an exposed location, above Niederbettingen, there is a large shelter with plenty of seating, additional shelter and a large barbecue area. Well equipped for celebrations.
The view of the Kylltal from up here is fantastic!
This vantage point is on the Eifelsteig.
