A solar-powered e-bike charging station with a total of 6 Schuko sockets and 3 USB ports. The charging station can also be used as a bicycle rack for 3 bicycles, behind the charging station there are also two parking spaces for bicycles. There are three flaps on the charging station, behind each flap there are two Schuko sockets and a USB port. I really like using this charging station, here I can charge my two e-bike batteries, my smartphone, my power bank and the batteries for my cameras at the same time.
The flaps can also be locked if you have a suitable lock with you (my Abus Bordo lock, for example, fitted there).
Directly behind the charging station (between the charging station and the cathedral) there is a small, pretty park with several benches, which is a great place to spend the time you have to wait while charging. By the way, one of the benches in the park is a solar bench (the solar cells are under the seat of the bench), there are two USB ports and two charging stations for inductive (wireless) charging. Unfortunately, in August '22 only the USB port and inductive charging on the right side of the bench worked, the USB port and inductive charging slot on the left side of the bench appear to be defective.
It's easy to miss the charging station though, when I first came here I cycled past it three times because I thought it was some kind of work of art at first because it was spray painted so beautifully to blend in better with the park's optics to insert
Right next to the charging station is a small house with public, very clean toilets. The entrance to the toilets is at the back of the cottage (towards the park).
Since I discovered this charging station (beginning of August 2022), I have now been here three times (also in August '22). While I reload my bike here, I use the time to have breakfast in the park.
