Ponte Palatino is a bridge over the Tiber in Rome, connecting the Lungotevere Aventino with the Lungotevere Ripa. The bridge was built between 1886 and 1890 by architect Angelo Vescovali, replacing the largely destroyed Ponte Emilio (or Ponte Rotto). The bridge is named after the Palatine Hill, which it is located close to. The bridge has four stone pillars with a metal top deck and is 155 meters long. The bridge is also known as Ponte Inglese, because traffic travels in the opposite direction, just like in the United Kingdom.

From the bridge there is a beautiful view of the Tiber and the ruins of a Roman bridge. Definitely a place to stop and enjoy the view!
