The 1.4 km long "Path of Hope" on the former Kolonnenweg invites you to reflect. 14 monumental sculptures by the artist Dr. Ulrich Barnickel mark part of the former death strip between Hesse and Thuringia. The Point Alpha Foundation set it up in 2009 to commemorate the resistance against communist dictatorships in Central and Eastern Europe.
