              The refuge is located between the Val Monzoni and the Valle di S. Pellegrino, at an altitude of 2530 meters. Inaugurated in 2006, it stands in place of the old wooden structure, which was dismantled piece by piece and rebuilt nearby. Floriano, son of the well-known Fassa mountaineer Bepi "Zac" Pellegrin, manages it, after whom the equipped path (Alta Via) that crosses the Costabella Crests along the Austrian walkways of the First World War is named.

              The refuge has 24 beds, distributed in welcoming rooms and dormitories, all with views of the enchanting Dolomites, the Pale di S. Martino and the peaks of the nearby Agordino, a splendid panorama that can be admired in its fullness from the large terrace.
