Former electoral hunting lodge - after destruction and demolition only the former economic and official building is preserved. The Neuschloss is eponymous for the district of Lampertheim.

The hunting lodge Neuschloss was built in the middle of the 15th century. built and destroyed several times in the following centuries. After the devastation in the Thirty Years' War, it was not rebuilt and served as a quarry from the beginning of the 18th century. Today only the economic and civil servant building is preserved. Apartments were built here after the Second World War.

The hunting lodge was built again and again from 1465 to 1622, before it fell victim to the flames again and again; until finally it was not rebuilt. To note is probably the first event of a prolonged war game (maneuvers) on German soil here in Neuschloß, as Friedrich 4th, for his extravagant lifestyle sufficiently known, on 15 June 1608, about 12,000 men and 5,000 horses in the area around Neuschloß together " shame on.
