The climb to the Rauna Tower is a bit of a challenge, but absolutely worth it. This 26-meter-high tower rises above the treetops and offers you an unforgettable panoramic view of the vast landscape of Saaremaa. The way to the top is via steep ladders, and even though a sign indicates that the climb is at your own risk, the tower feels stable and safe.
Once you reach the top, a 360-degree view awaits you, letting your gaze wander over the island's dense forests. The clear air and the gentle rustling of the wind in the trees create an atmosphere of peace and space. Especially on sunny days, when the sky is bright blue, you can perfectly pause up here and enjoy nature in all its glory.
The Rauna Tower is not only a highlight for hikers who don't mind a short climb, but also a wonderful place for photographers. The view of the green sea of leaves and the sky above make for a great motif
