    There are several such rocky, steep sections when descending from Schlappolteck or climbing up. Only a few are secured with rope insurance. Today (August 2022) several wooden planks, which normally serve as step protection, were washed under and even washed away by last night's heavy rain. Nevertheless, it is also doable with children if you pay attention to your own sure-footedness and that of the children.
