The octagonal pavilion in the Culture Park was moved from the Yingke pavilion of Wuqu palace on the Boji street,outside of the north gate in 1972.It was built in the early Qing dynasty. Its architecture, painting and sculpture are all very distinctive, reflecting the beauty of traditional Chinese garden architecture. It was listed as a municipal cultural relic protection unit in Chengdu in September 2013.The octagonal pavilion is now a place for recreation and entertainment for the people of Chengdu.
