A remote and romantic valley that can only be reached via the Mikladalur-Trøllanes hiking trail. Except for a large colony of seagulls and a few sheep, you will hardly find anyone here and you can extensively enjoy the, for the Faroe Islands, very lush greenery and the silence.
The path requires an absolute head for heights and the cliffs next to the path sometimes drop very steeply. In particular, the initial ascent and the final descent are quite demanding. The path in the valley itself is easy to walk on.
