Would highly recommend the circular walk from Kunoy, up along the higher dirt road and stopping for a short diversion into the 'plantation' woods.

Although the Faroe Islands are generally considered treeless, there is one notable exception on Kunoy: Viðarlundin í Kunoy, a small but dense forest of ash, birch, and spruce. This forest is a rare sight on the islands and offers a beautiful contrast to the otherwise barren landscape. We hear incredible chirping there, but unfortunately, don't get a single bird in our lens.
