In this lively center for the art of the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries, the visitor encounters works from Romanticism, Biedermeier, Impressionism, Expressionism and modern times on over 3,500 m² of exhibition space. The crowd puller is the collection “Peter C. Ruppert. Concrete art in Europe after 1945 ”with artists such as Max Bill, Günter Fruhtrunk, Victor Vasarely, including moving works of art, light objects, random images and computer-developed art. In addition, top-class changing exhibitions from classic modern to contemporary art are offered.
