    Located in the square of the same name, the convent of San Agustín was built in the mid-seventeenth century, with a donation from the Count of Altamira, for the Order of the Calced Augustinians. The church and the cloister are the work of Fernández Lechuga. On the neoclassical-style façade there is an image of the Virgen de la Cerca, so called because it was placed in a niche in the old wall. The initial project had two towers: the one on the right was never finished and the one on the left was destroyed by lightning in 1788. The convent was abandoned at the time of the exclaustration, dedicating itself to various uses. It is currently occupied by the Jesuits and functions as a university hall of residence.

        Monastery with its 17th century church in classic baroque style. A curiosity of the church are the two towers, the right one was never finished, the left one was destroyed by lightning. Internally it is arranged on three naves, but there is nothing special to note. On the neoclassical facade an image of the Virgen de la Cerca. The monastery is now inhabited by the Jesuits and used as a university college.
