On a good 3km long trail can the Steinbachtalsperre round. There are numerous benches that invite you to linger.
Most of the time you walk on a paved road, from time to time you can walk on smaller sections but also along a path along the shore.

Enjoy the dam from different points of view. There are many benches and many places where you can go directly to the water (is prohibited, as well as swimming outside the pool, which many do). A nature trail with many, not so common trees leads once around the dam.

Nice little round. In the meantime an Eifelspur "On Tuchmachers track". But especially on weekends, it is completely "overcrowded" - even during Corona times ...
