The Convento de San Anton is a former monastery of the Antoniter order near Castrojeriz. The Antoniter-Order had made it their task to heal sick people at the Antonius fire. It was founded in the 12th century by French monks. The now-abandoned buildings were built in the 14th century.

It belonged to a community of monks of the Order of San Antón, a congregation of African origin in the fourteenth century that helped sick pilgrims. The Antonines wore a Greek letter tau on their robes, a sign that can be seen in several ash trees of the buildings and in the rose window of the church. Although the Antonines settled here in 1146, the temple we see is later, from the fourteenth century. It remained active until 1787 when Pius VI merged this brotherhood with that of Malta. It was a large building with three naves and three apses. The best preserved is the two-storey central apse with windows and the western facade of Gothic style, with door of carved archivolts and a large rose window. This monastery was under royal patronage, as evidenced by the existence of royal shields on the portico of the church and on the keys of the vaults. It is located about 2 km northeast of the town of Castrojeriz, Burgos, Spain.
