The water lily pond is located at the northern end of the Valley of Roses in the northwestern part of Killesberg. The Valley of Roses was formerly a quarry. An artificial waterfall cascades over the steep bank at the water lily pond. Various types of water lilies grow in the pond. You can even find banana plants nearby.

The Valley of Roses ends at the Water Lily Pond. This beautifully situated pond is surrounded by imposing sandstone cliffs and features a small waterfall. A considerable number of different water lily varieties thrive here. The abundant population of Nymphaea 'Peter Slocum' is particularly lovely.
