The sparsely preserved remains of Losenheim Castle lie on an isolated rocky outcrop north of the Rotte Losenheim. Due to the exposed location and probably because of the early abandonment of the spur castle as a seat of power, only modest remains of the wall can be seen. These are now part of an ensemble of extensive restoration work, since the entire complex has been reconstructed privately since the 1990s.
