The Mangturm in Lindau
If you see the port entrance, you can also see the Mangturm: the square stone building from the 12th century is located directly on the promenade of Lindau on Lake Constance.
The 20 meter high tower was originally built as part of the medieval city fortifications and was previously only accessible via a drawbridge. With the construction of the New Lighthouse, it lost its function as a signaling and observation post. It was increased by one storey and covered with striking glazed bricks. 91 steps lead to the roof, where fairy tale hours for adults take place in summer.

Very nice harbor district. The prices in the cafés and restaurants are higher than 2 - 3 streets further down in the city center - this is due to the ambience.
