This climb leads from the Aachen district of Vaalserquartier to the Dreiländerpunkt (Three Countries Point). Initially, you ride through residential areas, but soon enter the countryside. The gradient varies, with steep sections and sometimes poor surface conditions. One section even leads over gravel, but this is manageable on a racing bike.
