If you follow the Cam High Road all the way to Bainbridge it's a tough descent on a gravel bike, even on fat tires. I reckon it would be a walk to come up it. Once you're up there's a mix of grass, tarmac and different grades of gravel and it's all rideable and great fun on a gravel bike all the way to Ribblehead. The cafe in Bainbridge does an awesome breakfast and good coffee and cake, we checked!

A dead straight ancient roman road that's best tackled on a gravel or MTB. From Bainbridge the ascent is very rocky, smoother on the descent to Ribbleshead Viaduct. The views are second to none from up here, especially on a clear day you can see for miles!

A mountain bike, gravel or cross bike will be needed for this terrain. A rocky long but steady climb all the way to the top. The photos don't do it justice. This was an old Roman road according to Emma!
