Ets Alocs marks the border between the municipalities of Ferreries and Ciutadella. Its name refers to aloc (chasteberry), of which a lot grows in this area. The pebble beach is flanked by the nearby hills of Penyes de Son Ermità and Marina de Santa Elisabet. The coast is low, has a dune system with stabilizing vegetation (garrigue and shrubs) and a wet zone irrigated by a torrent in the rear area. It faces northwest and is exposed to strong winds and waves. The water is very clear and the bottom is rocky. Not suitable for swimming...
