The Michaelishaus (originally London Schänke) is a half-timbered house in the city center of Göttingen in the Prinzenstraße 21, originally Mühlenpfortenstraße, opposite the Old University Library. The history of the building is closely linked to the University of Göttingen, as many important scholars lived or worked in the building.
