In recent years, a beautiful leisure area with rest areas, Kneipp pools in the Simmerbach and a children's playground has been created between the town hall and the Simmerbach. A pedestrian bridge also leads here over the renatured Simmerbach, which meanders around several young pastures.
PS the entrance to the stream and the railings at the Kneipp basin are good for removing the Hunsrück mud from your hiking boots before getting into the car parked there. Tested myself ;o)
