Culture and nature are closely connected here. In the midst of a dense canopy of leaves, the gray witch's rock stands out and somehow wants to bring back to mind its tragic history, which was marked by fire. 34 women and 1 man, envied by the neighbors and citizens, perceived as different and slandered as witches, were burned alive on this striking rock, the municipal execution site of Nördlingen.
