Tryfan's North Ridge represents one of the most sensational mountain scrambles in the UK. Rising straight from the shore of Llyn Ogwen, it's a classic route that's never quite the same way twice. At its easiest it's a grade one scramble, though variations can make it much more technical.

Highlights en route include the dramatically situated Cannon, a prow of rock jutting out at an improbable angle; the North Summit, an awesome platform reached just before the main summit; and loads of superb scrambling.

My very first time to experience the Mighty Tryfan!! But at the North Ridge too!! The North Ridge is actually recorded as one of the finest scrambling routes in Wales, and when combined with Bristly Ridge offers a fantastic terrain one that needs good fitness levels.
