There are fantastic views of Snowdonia from the top of Moel Siabod, but the weather must be clear. From the top it is possible to see 13 of the 14 highest peaks in Wales on a clear day without turning your head.

Moel Siabod is a lonely mountain in Snowdonia, with a trigonometric point of almost 900 metres, above Betws-y-Coed and Capel Curig. The routes up can be easily varied to suit different needs and abilities, and are always beautiful, with views of 13 of the 14 highest peaks in Wales from the summit on a clear day – without turning your head! Good parking and a café at the foot make Moel Siabod a great day out every time.

The eastern sentry to Eryri (Snowdonia), Moel Siabod stands guard over the village of Capel Curig. A variety of ascent options including easy grass slopes, historical quarry tracks and a gentle ridge scramble all end on a summit that provides one of the best views into the Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) massif to be found anywhere in the national park.
