The Protestant church is a listed church building in Daaden.

Protestant church in the town center
The previous church was built in 1136 and rebuilt from 1722 to 1724 according to plans by the architect Julius Ludwig Rothweil. Only the Romanesque west tower of the old church was retained, raised, and given a double onion dome. The pillarless nave rises above a cruciform floor plan, making it a hall building. The original pews can accommodate approximately 2,000 people on up to three galleries. Also from the 18th century is the pulpit altar, with the organ front rising above it in late Baroque style, a design frequently found in Protestant church architecture.[1] The old bells are said to have shattered during the funeral peal for Emperor Wilhelm I; the bronze memorial plaques in the tower entrance were later cast from the bells.

Extensive renovations took place in 1959.
