Peninsula and Nebenbucht worthwhile in any case ... But down the road and up to hike ... constantly cars whiz over ... There are nicer routes!

The top of the cape is a wonderful place to sit late in the afternoon (no sunburn danger, few tourists) and just listen to the sea and watch. However, I went by car to the beach, and then in the evening to see the sunset from the Monastery of St. John Monolithos. Beach bar and sun loungers are also available.

From the Johanniterburg further towards the sea you can quickly reach Cape Fourni with its beach. At the end of the long beach you can explore the elongated rock. Behind a brick watchtower you can climb a path down to the 'Queen's Bath'.
