The Damse Vaart is a canal in the north of the Belgian province of West Flanders. It is approximately 15 km long. The canal connects the provincial capital of Bruges with the Dutch border town of Sluis. The excavation work for this canal started after approval by Napoleon (1810), hence the name Napoleonvaart.
