The Lagazuoi train goes from Passo di Falzarego to just below the top of Lagazuoi. It leads a black track back to the pass. A second track leads over the north side to the Cap Alpina, from where you can be drawn by sleigh to Alta Badia.

The view from up here is simply breathtaking. The slope down towards Alta Badia is the most scenic ski slope I know.

The small Lagazoui, on whose summit the cable car leads, is 2778 meters high and lies just south of the large Lagazoui (2835m). In the First World War, the Lagazuoi was a hotly contested mountain, as it was right on the front, at the Austrian (k.u.k. Kaiserjäger) and Italian soldiers delivered a merciless position war.
