The Huerto del Cura, declared Jardín Artístico Nacional in 1943, has an area of 12,000 m2. A whole collection of Mediterranean and tropical plants has been harmoniously planted here, divided in an atmosphere of silence and tranquility where the palm trees, authentic protagonists of the garden, give it its special aspect.
Here you will find beautiful collections of palm trees and cacti, from all over the world, with a multitude of species adapted to the Spanish climate. In addition to palm trees, other typical crops of the Spanish Mediterranean grow in the Huerto del Cura, such as lemon trees, orange trees, pomegranates, carob trees, along with others from a subtropical climate that over time form a beautiful collection of plants from the most exotic places.

The Huerto de la Cura is a beautifully landscaped garden with various palm trees, cacti, citrus trees, ducks, pheasants, ponds, etc. I find the entrance fee of 6.50 euros (as of Jan 2025, pensioners and children pay less) steep, but I would spend the money again without hesitation.
