Friedrich Reimann completed his training as a painter and graphic artist at the Bauhaus in Dessau and in Berlin Steglitz - among others with Kandinsky and Mies van der Rohe, who was also his sponsor. From 1950 Reimann worked as an art teacher at the Ursuline Schools, where I was taught by him, and at the Duderstadt grammar school.
He also worked as a freelance artist. Among other things, he made the glass windows in the Liebfrauenkirche in Dud., The windows in the Fuhrbach cemetery chapel, the Pieta in Neu-Bösekendorf.
He died in 2008.
