There are so many routes to Merano - the ones that are a little higher up offer particularly good views. Like the Waalwege or the Taffinerweg. Fascinating insights into a city, an attitude to life or simply the amazing panorama.

Where a vineyard used to tower above the city of Meran, the public herb garden was created in 2012. This can be reached via the Tappeinerweg or via an old, adventurous stepped path, which begins behind the parish church.
