    The Zugberg lies between the valleys of the Dürren and Reichen Liesing. The ridge hike in this area, which also forms a section of city hiking trail 6, is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful hikes in the entire Vienna Woods. There are several resting places from which you have wonderful views of both valleys.

            The Zugberg is a mountain in the Vienna Woods, which lies west of Rodaun in the 23rd district. It is 325 meters high and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding area. On the southern slope of the Zugberg is the Mitzi-Langer-Wand, a popular climbing wall named after the Austrian mountaineer Mitzi Langer. The Zugberg is also part of the city hiking trail 6, which leads from Rodaun over the Maurer Forest. On the way you can also visit the Wotruba Church and the Georgenberg Sterngarten, which are located on the neighboring Georgenberg. The Zugberg is a beautiful destination for anyone who likes to hike or climb in nature. 😊
