The term martyr is to be understood differently in German than in the Turkish context. That would lead too far to explain this here. But it is about the conflict between Greeks and Turks in the period after the First World War.
Here in the memorial in the Atça-Çomaklı-Plain are 12 Turkish men, the victims of three clashes with the Greeks, were buried.
