This small oratory is located in the middle of the woods and was built after the plague of 1630. It is a crossing point of the Calanchi dell’Abadessa ring.

Small seventeenth-century Oratory object of ancient popular devotion, is dedicated to the image of the Madonna nursing the Child, depicted in the fresco inside in the sweet attitude of a mother.

Built by the inhabitants of Croara to dissolve the vow made in 1630 during the plague, the one described by Manzoni, and recently restored, it is located inside the wood, where the cleaning of the invasive vegetation has allowed to bring to light a huge block of chalk , shaped to be used as a rustic seat and has given back value to the beautiful centuries-old oak that borders this unusual and suggestive churchyard.
