It is reported as early as 1522 that there was a brewery below the Eslarner town hall. At that time, the communal brewery had its own malt house, and the kilns are still there today. The Eslarn municipal brewery produces an average of 800 hectoliters a year. On May 9, 2015, the "Beer Experience Kommunbrauhaus" was opened with a new adventure museum, cyclist rest stop and oven. Zoigl bread and Upper Palatinate delicacies are culinary highlights here. Museum opening times: all year round by prior arrangement (telephone: 09653 / 920735).

Unfortunately, the communal brewery is currently closed. After the gastronomy in Eslarn is down, it might also be a good idea under the aspect of tourism to open it permanently. From a culinary point of view, Eslarn currently resembles a diaspora - which is actually a shame.
