Through Tarancueña passes the Wool Route of the Camino de Sanatiago and the Camino del Cid, as well as one of the GRs (explained in the park route, a very quiet place with a lot of inner peace). The easy route is to follow by road until the Carrascosa de Abajo / Fresno de Caracena detour, and the most suitable for hiking along the path between the Caracena canyon, since after 2 km it is no longer cyclable so it is more recommended go on foot. The valley has a great wealth of fauna and flora of the area, with some hidden places to set up the camp at the end of the section. In Tarancueña we have a nice little park where you can refuel water, take advantage of the fact that until we reach Valderromán or Caracena, depending on the route we choose, we will not find anything else. The town of Valderromán has a park, has a fountain and what is necessary to spend the night, it also seems to have a hostel bar at the disposal of the town hall. Caracena has a Bar, next to the old church, along the path of the Castle and also a fountain in the town square. In Fresno de Caracena there are no services or resources, but it has a social shelter available to the city council (ask for the mayor) to provide keys, it has the basics, water, toilets, tables and a sofa. It is advisable to bring a bag, mat and some food.
