    The Evangelical Holy Spirit Church is a sacred building from 1346. Traces and remains of a small field stone church, which was then built between the castle and the market, can still be found today for the attentive observer in the east wall of the Holy Spirit Church.

        The Holy Spirit Church is of great importance in the history of the town in several respects.

        Firstly, as a listed building from the town's medieval heyday, it is probably the most important cultural and historical testimony to Teupitz's history.

        Secondly, it is a testimony to the Reformation, which also fundamentally changed the ecclesiastical and social conditions in the Schenkenländchen.

        And finally, since the middle of the 16th century, it has developed into the center of the Protestant parish of the small Brandenburg town and its surroundings, and increasingly into a cultural meeting place for the town's citizens, visitors and guests.

        The Holy Spirit Church is the oldest, only building from the time of the founding and medieval heyday of this small Brandenburg town, although it has undergone major reconstruction, as the castle was demolished around 1790 and almost all of the ancient town houses fell victim to the great town fire of 1687. This is why it is seen as a gem and an invaluable cultural asset not only by the members of the small church community of Teupitz and the surrounding area, but also by the residents.
