The most important component in terms of urban history is on the east side with the location of the old town hall, which was destroyed in the Second World War and replaced by a new building in 1960. The market square still fulfills its historical function as a trading and communication center of the city through the regular holding of weekly markets, the implementation of city festivities and the public function of the city hall.
