David Rebentrost (born July 15, 1614 in St. Joachimsthal, † December 15, 1703 in Drebach) was a German Protestant Lutheran pastor, who also worked as a doctor, naturopath and plant breeder. The Drebacher Krokuswiesen in the Erzgebirge community Drebach can be attributed to the legend of the planting less crocuses by him.
