The Wolfhalde Local Museum is housed in the old "Krone," an authentic Appenzell house dating back to the 17th century. The local history collection is dedicated to local history, home weaving (a handloom for silk purse cloth is on display), as well as fruit and wine growing on the Kurzenberg. Annually changing special exhibitions on local themes complement the interesting permanent exhibition.
