Between pigeon head and Geißkopf lies this beautiful and clear forest pond, to this also the animals come to drink. A bench on the pond invites you to take a break and enjoy the view. The pond is fed by a stream.

From the Wüstmühlwoog you hike with the Kroatenwoog and the Riesenwoog to the starting point of the Holztrift at the three source streams of the Kaltenbach (Wüstbach, Kroatentalbach, Warzbach). The Woog naming refers to the clearing in the spring area with the desert mill once operated there. This is a separate highlight on this hike.
