The title of this place sounds a bit intellectual, but it is not. This is about wisdom, religion and things worth thinking about that are brought into harmony with nature. There are countless models and different trees. Just great!

The "Philosophical Rock Garden" in Egestorf was opened in 2006 and declared a natural wonder by the Lüneburg Heath Nature Park. It is right in the heart of the idyllic heath town.
Next to an old avenue of trees there are stone sculptures with a philosophical background, such as the "stumbling block", the "stumbling stone" or the "stone that falls from the heart"
In addition, the place has a certain mysticism, because from 1872 to 1944 this place was the cemetery of Egestorf. There are several tombstones that can still be seen there today.
