Pont d'en Botifarreta beach is one of the liveliest and busiest in Badalona. It has a length of 620 meters and an average width of about 35. The sand is of medium grain, the slope at the entrance to the sea is a little steep, and the seabed is sandy. It has showers, sanitary facilities, a first aid and surveillance point, parking, a children's play area and a bar. The central first aid point for the beaches of Badalona is located there. It also offers various facilities for people with reduced mobility, in a center that has adapted toilets and showers, an access ramp, amphibious chairs, an escort service and a lifeline at sea.
It is bounded by Playa dels Pescadors, on the left, and by Playa de Cristall, on the right. It is accessed through a tunnel that passes under the train tracks. Badalona station is 600 meters to the right. On the right side of the beach, almost on the border with the Fishermen's beach, there is the Bétulo Nautical Club, where a large number of activities related to sailing, rowing, motorboating and scuba diving are organized. In addition, this club has a bar and a restaurant.
During the town's main festival, which is held in mid-August, different events take place on this beach, such as concerts or fireworks shows. Numerous sports activities are also organized throughout the year, such as football and beach rugby, aerobics or tai chi.
